About Us



Established in the summer of 2004 in Alexandria, Virginia.
Café Aurora serves customers from the entire Washington, DC metropolitan area and beyond, featuring its flavorful home-style breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu items of Eritrea, a small country in East Africa on the coast of the Red Sea.
To compliment our splendid menu items we also serve a wide selection of delicious Italian pastries along with coffee and tea selections. We select our coffee beans and tea leaves with great care and attention to ensure your utmost enjoyment and satisfaction.

We also take pride in serving our special organic flaxseed smoothie, which has so many health benefits!
Café Aurora is noted for its pleasant ambiance and coziness, it is ideal for relaxing and enjoying conversation while also surfing the Internet using our complimentary WiFi, a complimentary service of our Café.
